I was approached to do a Vans Collaboration as an external designer in any medium I chose. I decided to create a rubber block print by hand and then stamp it on the signature Vans canvas. My prints were based on Indian ink printing yet another representation of my culture. The design itself combined Victorian styled art and traditional Indian temple carvings. The prints eventually were used to create prototypes on shoes and in the long run they may be sold in stores.
